Great game January 9, 2009 This game is pretty fun-even though I don't play it that often. I bought it for my husband, who is addicted to it, and the graphics and gameplay are fun, even for someone like me that doesn't particularly get into these kinds of games. I like the "Zombie" feature after you beat the game, and I also like that you can play 1-on-1 with each other and try to blow each other up. We make a competition out of it to see who can blow the other one up either with the most explosion or the most times, or the most sneakiest. Can be quite fun!
Hours of fun. January 9, 2009 First of all, I am a fan of the Call of Duty series. I have logged countless hours on the recent CoD 4 and if you like that game, you'll most likely like this one. CoD 4 and 5 are essentially the same, but with different skins and a few extra features on multiplayer. I believe the single player is a bit harder as well. In CoD 4, your teammate AI's will actually provide some sort of covering fire (as well as a comptuer can) and will also draw some fire. In World at War, they do nothing and sometimes get in your way (I'm speaking on Veteran difficulty). CoD 4 took about 4 hours to beat on Veteran, but 5 took wayyy longer... its definitely a plus for those who like WWII shooters. For other FPS fans, its a definite must-buy. The multiplayer is to die for!
Really fun game! January 9, 2009 The graphics are awsome! Love calling air strikes..Lots of action, all my friends like it too!
